The Californians for Disability Rights Foundation founded in 1974 is the funding and scholarship arm of Californians for Disability Rights, Inc. CDR, Inc., founded in 1970, is a statewide grassroots membership organization, with the purpose of helping people with disAbilities gain and maintain equality, justice and independence.

To improve the quality of life for all persons with any disability through education and training - By working to remove barriers through advocacy and change in public policy.
